I'm very exited to find out that this plant has psychoactive properties, Its been growing around me right under my nose this whole time!
Celandine is in the Papaveraceae or poppy family along with California poppy as well as the very well known Iranian and Oriental poppies
Although I haven't experimented with California poppies yet I'm thinking that this plant is a more psychoactive variant
The plant when scored has a latex like bitter lettuce that dry's yellow and red and is full of isoquinoline alkaloids
The main alkaloid is coptisine Which is a monoamine oxidase A inhibitor
It seams to share most of the same alkaloids as prickly poppy as well
Has anyone already experimented with this plant?

The highest alkaloid content is in the root, reaching 2-3%, of which the dominant alkaloids are chelidonine and coptisine. The aerial parts contain about 0.5-1.5% alkaloids, of which the largest constituent is coptisine, with the other alkaloids substantially changing during the development of the plant.
