I was wondering if we can list some useful plants that could be grown at home. Are there any members here that have such plants? Personaly I have many Calea Zacatechichi plants and will get some Coleus Blumei soon. Please share and add your flora here...

I've found that Nicotiana rustica is very easy to grow, especially for someone who doesn't have much experience growing plants from seed. It germinates easily. It requires minimal care. And it will produce usable quantities of foliage in as little as a month, becoming quite large after a full summer of growing if treated nicely. I grew about 20 N. rustica plants this summer.
This variety of tobacco is much more interesting than typical cigarette tobaccos, but it has a very high nicotine content, so some extra precautions are necessary when growing it. It is possible to absorb large doses through the skin when touching this plant. And it is important to start with very low doses of this plant if you decide to ingest it.
I definitely don't condone the daily compulsive use of tobacco, but I've found that smoking this tobacco on occasion has been very beneficial to my spiritual development. Quidding the leaves and flowers is also very interesting and actually feels healing.
Tobacco is the only plant that I've consistently found to produce a feeling of being in the presence of a higher, creator type, power.
